La Brasserie du Square
Comptoir de Famille's Brasserie du Square dinnerware is a great basic set of dishes. Simple but very french we keep it continually stocked at the store. Coupled with Comptoir's elegant silverware and coordinating placemats and napkins you have a complete bistro place setting!
If I were to give a french themed dinner party I would incorporate vintage french postcards. Little notes or memories about each guest could be penned on the back making a personal keepsake .
Centerpieces don't always need to be floral. It can be a good way to
showcase additional pieces of your dishware.

Spring Garden Project
Now that the weather is getting milder and we have had a few days of sun I can't help but start thinking about my garden. I came across this information on how to assemble a versaille or "french" planter box. I keep meaning to pass this along to my Dad(the poor recipient and enabler of most of my ideas!)
This planter brought to mind Marie Antoinette and her "hamlet" at Versailles.
